Dom Pérignon collaborates with Mathias Bengtsson to create a unique sculpture that merges nature, technology, and artistry. Inspired by the organic growth of vines, Bengtsson uses an innovative bio-mimicry process using digital seeds that evolve under simulated meteorological conditions. This results in sculptural forms that cradle magnum bottles of Dom Pérignon’s exceptional vintages—Vintage 1999 Plénitude 2 in gold and Vintage 2000 Plénitude 2 Rosé in rose gold.

I prepared the 3D files from Matias for production by segmenting into the correct forms for bronze casting. I then 3D printed the 80 editions in a castable wax resin over the space of a few months.

I also machined and engraved the signature and edition number into a section of bronze that was later welded into the object. This was a intricate 10 step process as each piece needed to be perfect.

Additionally I photographed the process and the final presentation images of the object.
