Charles Westgarth collaborated with Matter to fulfil a commission from a client who wanted a sculpture from Westgarth's series on Abstract Dancers entitled "Majestic”, but in a custom, larger size than the original.

The pattern from the sculpture was 3D scanned. The resulting 3D model was scaled up to meet the size needed for the new commission. It was then segmented with some parts routed in Polyurethane Foam and more complex forms such as the head fabricated by 3D printing. 

After joining the pieces together, the pattern was sent to a foundry for sand casting in bronze. Westgarth then completed the sculpture by chasing, polishing, patinating and mounting on the base.
