RECREATION OF GUILIO ROMANO OBJECTS
PALAZZO TE - FACTUM FOUNDATION
Factum Arte recreated Giulio Romano's renowned drawings in 3D. The team of 3D sculptors studied the designs before reimagining them in a three-dimensional space. After this, Matt took over the process, preparing the models for fabrication.
The initial stage of fabrication involved 3D printing, followed by lead casting. This required Matt to possess knowledge in model segmentation, specifically how to divide the models into sections that could be produced with a high degree of detail through 3D printing.
Matt also needed to take into account the fabrication process, how they will do the mold creation for the lead casting process. Furthermore, it was necessary to have an understanding of how to assemble the individual sections through welding and additional methods, resulting in the creation of the finished objects.
